Decorative late 1800's French tambour embroideries. Four pieces. Cotton. Applique work depicting four rectangles with knot and drawn work in the center. 
 
At some stage I believe the work was clipped out from it's original piece and glued to the back of the tulle netting in order to preserve and stabilize. You can see old glue residue at the back. Love the way this piece has aged over time.
