A gorgeous piece of antique silk. Purchased in France but probably Middle Eastern or Morroccon in origin. Iùve seen the same silks used on traditional robes. Double weave. Undoubtedly hand woven. 
 
Golden yellow color with a fine cranberry red pinstripe. 
 
The chanvre is white in color with florals in light mustard and coral.
