Glad to add another variation of this late 1700's early 1800's French cotton block print fabric. "Bonnes Herbes" with a variety of florals in rosy red, mustard, pink, light blue  and white on leafy green stems. Background has in intense pattern of small leafy vines in light brown with a dark brown background.

*please note actuall two pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together with a strip running across the top edge. On the largest piece of fabric you can still see the selvage at one side. 

 

Condition

 

Distressed with a few medium size holes and many small holes and thin areas. No stains. 

 

Colors are good strong and even. 

 

The fabric has been giving a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and a long cold water wash using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 

 

It is our aim to preserve the colors and the integretity of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being reproduced.
