Late 1800's early 1900's French toile du jouy pelmet. Cotton. Depicting angels and cherubs in shades of blue and white. Backed with a chanvre linen. All hand stitched and lightly quilted. The pelmet is made of of 4 pieces of the same fabric stitched together. A larger piece along the bottom, two smaller pieces along the top edge and a narrow strip at one side.
