Pretty blue and black pinstripe French bodice dating from the late 1800's, No rib supports. Polished cotton liner. Button closures down the front Sscalloped sleeve cuffs are edged with a black velvet. 
 
All hand stitched.

Left in "as found" condition. 
 
Probably best intended as a decorative piece or for upscaling. There are small breaks in the silk under one arm and larger breaks in the silk under the other arm and two larger splits on the same arm. 
 
Silk shows some light discoloration either from dust or fading. The bottom edge is unfinished and the front is missing it's buttons. Inside in good conditon with no damage.
