A 19th century Ottoman embroidery coverlet. Abstract motifs and symbols with quarter moons, paisley, and blossoms done in silk and metallic threads. All on a silk base. Gold metallic crocheted lace around all edges.

Overall very good condition with silk and metallic threads  intact. Colors are strong and even in the embroidery. At one corner a couple of tiny holes and a small old repair in the silk back. The background gold silk shows some light traces of age and small areas of greenish color. Nothing major.
