I love French chenille embroidery work and this example has such an elegant look to it.

Done on what appears to be a silk ground, the emboridery work depicts a large urn center holding a large bouquet of florals and leaves. The urn rest of on a bid of grass with what appears to be tiny florals. Subtle colors in light mustard, green, creme and a rosy red with florals and leaves done in what use to be white but has now aged to shades of grey and white. The piece is set into a gold frame and a brown wooden shadow box has been built around the frame. All original.

Photos are good representation of actual color and condition.
