A long length of vintage French gold metallic fringe. Probably dates from the early to mid 1900's. Twist rope strands. Good metal content. Dark even patina throughout. The fringe is a cotton base with a gold metal wrap.

Used but still in very good condition. You will see bending of the strands  but an even appearance. Please note this fringe  has 3 seams in it.
