An early 1900's French cotton toile du jouy. The original design was made by Oberkampf and dates from the 1700's. Depicts classical figures and a moth at one side. Bordered in stylized leaves and blossoms. Colors are blue and white.

Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. Good clean appearance for the most part but could use a freshening up. 
 
No holes or age spots. You can see that the top part of this piece and the right hand side are a shade of blue darker in color. Larger figures at the bottom left hand corner are a shade lighter in color.
