A lot of five  early 1900's French cotton toile du jouy. The original design was made by Oberkampf and dates from the 1700's. Depict partial classical figures with one piece having a partial moth at one side.  Bordered in stylized leaves and blossoms. Colors are blue and white.

Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Measurements

As you can see from the photos all the fabric had been cut and used as a chair covers at one time.  All the pieces are just part of the chair covers. Some pieces can be matched up and seamed together to create a full design.

Measurements on each piece are taken at widest points.

48 x 21 cm

47.5 x 20 cm

45 x 22.5 cm

43 x 22.5 cm

51 x 26 cm

Condition

Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. Good clean appearance for the most part but could use a freshening up.

No stains. I saw one tiny pinhole in one piece. For the rest all the pieces in good condition. You can tell that the colors have lightened evenly in color due to age. The original deeper blue color can be seen at the edges.
