A lot of four pieces of 19th century French chanvre linen. Cremey white color. Distressed.

64 x 46 cm (actually three pieces all hand seamed together and one patch)

Condition
 
All pieces are distressed with large and small  holes here and there throughout as well as many thin areas. 
 
All with consistant coloring and a clean look except for one small stain at the edge of one piece. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
