A  19th century French cotton print fabric. Saved from a French quilt. Four different fabrics on this piece. An indigo blue and white and the other pieces in shades of brown for the most part. Several pieces that have all been hand stiched together. The indigo fabric has been patched in two places using the same indigo fabric.

Condition
 
Left in as found condition except for removing old quilting threads. Very distressed with a large section missing which can be seen in the photos. Many large and small holes throughout as well as many thin areas. In addition to the patches there is also an old rpair. 
 
No stains. Colors fairly consisitant in the indigo blues. Other fabrics show variations in color due to age, use and quilting.
