What use to be the entire backing of a French quilt. Four different fabrics on this piece. All cotton. One a tiny plaid in light brown, blue and white, another piece that appears to have been part of a provencal scard at one time with a paisley design green yellow, blue and white with a light brown/tan background. A solid yellow with stripe design and with three border designs of florals in red, light blue, mustard and white.

Several pieces all hand seamed together.

Photos are a good representation of actual color and conditon.

Condiition

Yellow fabrics and plaid still in good condition with only some light stains and age related signs use.

The paisely piece is distressed with large and small holes here and there throughout as well as thin areas.

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.

It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
