A  19th century French cotton plaid fabric. Shades of blue and red with off white.

Condition
 
Very distressed with many large and small holes and thin areas throughout. Colors are fairly even but do show some slight variaitons due to age, use and quilting. 
 
No stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
