Beautiful unused panel of mid to late 1800's. French silk. Clean, crisp tailored look. Striped in light grey and white. Probably intended for clothing since we have a bodice currently listed made from the same fabric. Great quality.

Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. 
 
Basically unused very good condition The silk was tacked to a piece of linen which we removed so you will see some tiny sewing pinholes at the sides. Nothing major. 
 
I saw one very small very faint age spot that should come up with a cold water soak and along one side some minor pinholes from a sewing line. Nothing major or distracting. 
 
Silk is very strong with no breaks or weak spots and very useable for sewing.
