The look, textures and designs of 18th century textiles are a league of their own. This 18th century French "farine" flour sack is no exception. Beautifully woven from chanvre hemp linen thread. Oatmeal color. Triangle lap at the top. The sach has a lightly stampled letter "T" on one side. Industrial weight. Utilitarian look. Would be perfect for upholstery projects or soft furnishings Will accommodate both classical and modern interiors.  Photos are a good representation of actual color.

Condition

 

Overall good condition especially for age. This hemp was made to last. There are a couple of small holes but nothing major. You will see a couple of desired darned repairs, a few patches and some hand stitching. 

 

Good and clean material with no stains.
