A rare find! This French cotton toile dating circa 1840 from Alsace. Block/roll print fabric. Depicting two rollls of curved feathers, florals and leaves.
Colors are shades of blue, white and yellow.
Full repeat.
The fabric is depicted on one of our textile books "Pique de Provence" page 132 and we've attached a photo with the listing to show two other color variations as shown in the book.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Fabric does have some condition issues. A few larger holes and many tiny holes throughout the main bod of the fabric. Many small holes along along sides with some bigger holes as well. You can tell that the fabric was once used on a quilt with light quilt lines.
