Rare find!
A late 1700's early 1800's Indian tent hanging fragment. Home spun plain weave cotton. Block print. Left side a row of birds. Center a flowering tree. A bird a large motif of florals and leaves. Colors are madder red, light olive green with outlines in black.

Original selvage runs along both the top edge and bottom edge.
Condition
Left in "as found" condition.
Very good for age. One small hole to the right of the birds and a coupel of tiny pinholes. Nothing major.
