A skein of late Victorian French jet glass black beads. Tear drop shape with with lines crossing the surface. Flat on the underside with rounded fronts. Each bead with a hole through the middle section.

The skein has 11 strands of beads. On each strand there are at least 
 
20 beads (11 x 20 beads = 220 beads on the skein)
