Two pieces of 19th century French cotton roll prints that have been hand seamed together. One fabric has a bands of repeating circles and a double dot design with a pinstripe and broken line background.. Colors are shades of brown to terracotta with an off white background.

Condition

 

Highly distressed with many large and small holes throughout as well as thin areas. Variations in color due to age, use and quilting. No stains. 

 

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
