Two pieces of 19th century French cotton block print fabrics. Fantastic Indienne design with leafy branches and blossoms. Tiny picotage work in the motifs. Colors are a natural red against a white background.

Condition
 
Both pieces distressed with large and small holes throughout as well as many thin areas throughout. Colors are still strong and consistant. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
