Two pieces of 19th century French cotton block prints. The larger piece a very pretty design in thsi 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Alternating bands of small florals on a stem with bands of of blossoms. Colors are natural red, yellow and brown against a green background. 
 
The smaller piece a faint repeat block print of poka dots with a blossom in the center. Colors are light yellow and beige.

Condition
 
For the most part both pieces in good condition with only small thin areas at the sides. The yellow piece has one small dark stain at one side. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
