Recently acquired several of these late 1800's early 1900's French tambour embroideries that would be beautiful used as is or for upscaling  garments and interior projects.
 
This example was made into a curtain. It has a wider hem at one end and a smaller hem at the other end so that it can easily be hung with a curtain pole. Done on a finely woven white cotton muslin base. Large and small floral and leaves throughout. 
 
Gorgeous quality material.

The width is 72 cm wide 
 
Condition
 
For the most part in very good condition. A few tiny holes and there are a few small old darned repairs. 
 
Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. Clean appearance other than a few tiny age spots but nothing major or distracting.
