Recently acquired several of these late 1800's early 1900's French tambour embroideries that would be beautiful used as is or for upscaling garments and interior projects.
This example was made into a curtain. It has a hem along the top edge and pleated with a linen band sewn it so the curtain can be hung with hooks, Done on a finely woven white cotton muslin base. Large white motifs of stylized florals and leaves. Scalloped edges along the sides and bottom,
Gorgeous quality material.

The width is 59 cm wide.
Condition
Left in "as found" condition and not laundered.
Clean appearance but could use a soaking. Some very tiny holes here and there in the muslin base but nothing major. There is a large break in the muslin base toward the bottom corner which can be seen in the photos. The break is about 73 cm up from the bottom.
