Obtained from a private collection this late19th century coverlet depicting the Belgium king Leopold II. Center is a fine muslin linen with cutwork and hand embroidered leaves around the face and outlines in the face and collar. Filligree work around the sides depicting leaves and a crown at the top. Around all the edges a very finely done hand made lace.  Photos are a good example of condition and color.

I've inspected the coverlet closely and have found no stains or damage. The coverlet is clean but not laundered. I prefer to leave cleaning up to the discretion of the buyer
