A 19th century French silk and metallic brocade panel done on a gold lame back. Undoubtedly part of a vestment at one time. Florals and leaves and done in a silk and silver metallic thread.

Condition

Blossom at the top has some slight wear to the silk threads, Blossom and bud at the bottom has some missing threads. There is a stain towards the bottom at one edge. A couple of tiny darkish age spots here and there. You will see some stains and soiling on the back cotton liner.
