A vintage wooden spool of French gold metallic thread/string. Metal thread wrapped around a cotton core. Medium warm color. A thick thread that is more like a string. Crinkle look which catches the light and adds texture to your project. Thread is good and strong and will hold up under tension. 
 
Intended for hand sewing. Pefect for couching, outlining, small bows or hanging tassels.
